Family of four

As we get used to being a family of four, we have realized all the fun (and 'interesting') nuances that go with have two children. Nevaeh is a fantastic big sister who likes to give hugs and kisses to Journey (who she calls "Journey-Journ"), and Journey enjoys looking up at her big sister.

Nevaeh wonders why Journey doesn't want to come swimming in her kiddy pool, but is still impressed with her baby sister's ability to sleep ALOT!

Alana continues to gain strength and energy, but it will still be a few weeks before she can go for her famous long walks or do any significant shopping and other activities. We are thankful to the many friends who helped us out with meals over the past couple weeks. We hope to plan some short vacation weekend get-aways for later in the summer, but it looks like all the fun in July will be close to home. Feel free to come visit our family summer of fun!

Journey home

Well, after some days in the hospital and some scares with Mommy, we are excited to announce that Journey has come home! Mommy is a little weak and needs extra help from Daddy and Auntie Kristi who has come from Minnesota and will stay for a while. Thanks to all of you who have and continue to pray for us, especially for Alana's health.
